An Act relative to health insurance coverage notification.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 6 of chapter 176O, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding after the words “denied enrollment” the following:- For any change to ongoing medical costs that will increase the out of pocket costs to the patient, including costs related to prescription drugs, medical supplies or other treatment, a patient must be given at least a 60 notice before those changes take effect.
