An Act relative to retired LEOSA certified law enforcement officers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 131 3/4 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following paragraph:-
“Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, any firearm purchase limitations set forth in the roster shall not apply to retired law enforcement officers who posses a Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) Qualification Card, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 926C. Said purchaser shall be required to present their LEOSA Qualification Card to a seller at the time of purchase.”
