An Act relative to embarkation fees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 129 of Chapter 46 of the acts of 2003, as amended by Section 11 of Chapter 55 of the acts of 2003, is hereby amended by striking out the word “$.50”, in subsections 129(a) and 129(b), and inserting in place thereof the following word:- “$1.00”.
SECTION 2. Said section 129 is further amended by striking out the word “25”, in subsection 129(c), and inserting in place thereof the following word:- “12.5”
SECTION 3. Said section 129 is further amended by inserting after the words “shall be paid to that city or town,” in subsection 129(c), and inserting the following words:- “25 per cent to a fire district that provides fire or public safety services to a port within a city or town that provides ferry service”
SECTION 4. Said section is further amended by striking out the word “75”, in subsection 129(c), and inserting in place thereof the following word:- “62.5”
