Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 3 of Ch. 175H of the general laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, at the end thereof, the following:

Insurer shall include a statement of disclaimer to the insured with the check or other payment voucher notifying the insured, in a clear and conspicuous manner, that failure to make payment in full to service provider will result in civil and/or criminal liability pursuant to this section.
