By Representative Hunt of Sandwich and Senator Wolf, a joint petition (subject to Joint Rule 12) of Randy Hunt and Daniel A. Wolf that the West Barnstable Fire District be authorized to fund library services for the Whelden Memorial Library.  Municipalities and Regional Government.

An Act authorizing the West Barnstable Fire District to fund library services for the Whelden Memorial Library.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1. Chapter 107 of the Acts of 1949 is hereby amended by inserting after section 2 the following section:-

              Section 2A. The district may raise, appropriate and transfer funds to the Whelden Memorial Library, Corp., or any successor library within the district, to provide for library services.

              SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its acceptance by a majority vote of the West Barnstable Fire District at an annual meeting of the district.
