By Representative Reinstein of Revere and Senator Petruccelli, a joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3687) of Kathi-Anne Reinstein and Anthony W. Petruccelli (with the approval of the mayor and city council) that the city of Revere be authorized to issue bonds or notes for the payment of a litigation settlement.  Municipalities and Regional Government.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act authorizing the city of Revere to issue bonds or notes for the payment of a certain litigation settlement.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the city of Revere is authorized to issue bonds or notes for a period of not more than twelve years, to pay costs of a litigation settlement as approved by the city council by an order adopted on September 23, 2013, which order is hereby ratified, validated and confirmed in all respects, as if this act had been in effect on the date of adoption of such order.

              SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage
