[Sponsors] Mr. Wagner of Chicopee moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-0901, by striking the item;

and further moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-0900, by striking the item and inserting in place thereof:-

“7008-0900   For the operation of the Massachusetts office of travel and tourism; provided, that the office shall be the official and lead agency to facilitate and attract major sports events and championships in the commonwealth; provided further, that the office shall be the official and lead agency to facilitate motion picture production and development within the commonwealth; and provided further, that funds appropriated within this item shall also be used for financial assistance to local tourist councils under section 14 of chapter 23A of the General Laws ............................................................................................................$1,788,167
