Amendment #213 to H3400

Authorization to Name Piers Park

[Sponsors] Mr. Basile of East Boston moves to amend the bill by adding the following sections:-

“Section X.  Section 8 of Chapter 349 of the Acts of 1986 as most recently amended by Chapter 33 of the Acts of 1991 is hereby further amended by adding the following language at the end thereof:  Upon the completion of the Phase I Park, the authority and the PAC shall be authorized to name said Phase I Park as follows:  “Emanuel ‘Gus’ Serra – Piers Park”.

Section X.  Section X shall take effect immediately upon its passage.”.
