Framingham Jail Diversion Program

[Sponsors] Representatives Walsh of Framingham and Sannicandro of Ashland move that the bill be amended in Section 2 in item 5046-0000, by adding the following:

“; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended by the Department of Mental Health to train police officers to recognize and deal with individuals suffering from mental illness in the town of Framingham”
