Police Career Incentive Quinn Bill

[Sponsors] Representatives Fallon of Malden, Donato of Medford, Walsh of Boston, Brady of Brockton, Miceli of Wilmington, Dwyer of Woburn, Stanley of Waltham, Brownsberger of Belmont, Garry of Dracut, Basile of East Boston, Puppolo of Springfield, McMurtry of Dedham, Smola of Palmer, Bastien of Gardner and Alicea of Charlton move that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 8100-0006, by striking out the figures "$27,500,000" and inserting thereof the figures "$37,500,000"; and by adding at the end the following:

"Provided further that $10,000,000 shall be expended for police career incentives to reimbuse certain cities and towns for career incentive salary increases for police officers."
