Dept of Revenue Pilot Program

[Sponsors] Mr. Keenan of Salem moves to amend the bill, in section 2, in line item 1201-0100, by inserting the following language at the end of the item:

The Department of Revenue shall establish a pilot program in the J. Michael Ruane Judicial Center for the purpose of determining indigency pursuant to section 2A of chapter 211D of the General Laws for defendants seeking representation by public defenders or private bar advocates in either District or Superior Court.
