Infrastructure and Capacity Building Funding

[Sponsors] Representatives Kane of Holyoke, Finn of West Springfield, Wagner of Chicopee, Puppolo of Springfield, Torrisi of North Andover, Scibak of South Hadley, Ashe of Longmeadow, Curran of Springfield, Humason on Westfield and Swan of Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 2, line item 4000-0700, by adding the following section:

4000-0700 … provided further, that $30,000,000 shall be expended from this item, or item 4000-0500, if necessary to achieve maximum federal financial participation, to enhance the ability of hospitals, community health centers and primary care clinicians to serve populations in need more efficiently and effectively; provided further, that the executive office shall maximize federal reimbursements for state expenditures made to these providers;
