EI Bifurcation Prohibition

[Sponsors] Representatives Walsh of Lynn, Fennell of Lynn, Kafka of Stoneham, Conroy of Wayland, Keenan of Salem, Madden of Nantucket, Benson of Lunenburg, Kaufman of Lexington, Hecht of Watertown, Puppolo of Springfield, Peake of Provincetown, Hogan of Stow, Smola of Palmer, McMurtry of Dedham, Adams of Andover, Andrews of Orange, Mark of Hancock, Turner of Dennis, Alicea of Charlton, Humason of Westfield, Brownsberger of Belmont, Stanley of Waltham, Costello of Newburyport, and Ashe from Longmeadow move that the bill be amended in Section 2, item 4513-1020 by adding at the end thereof:

 

“provided further, that the Department shall not implement a bifurcated eligibility model creating two parallel service systems for Early Intervention services”
