Tour Surcharge Amendment

[Sponsors] Mr. Keenan of Salem, Mr. McMurtry of Dedham,  Mr. Devers of Lawrence move to amend the bill by adding at the end thereof the following section:

Sectionxxx.  Section 9 of Chapter 152 paragraph (d), as appearing in the Acts of 1997, is hereby amended, by inserting,  after line 6, the following:

and provided further that no such surcharge shall be imposed on tours or cruises sponsored by organizations exempt from federal taxes as non-profit organizations.
