Amendment to Reduce LLC Fees

[Sponsors] Representatives Kuros of Uxbridge, O’Connell of Taunton, Fattman of Sutton, Lombardo of Billerica, Ferguson of Holden, Levy of Marlborough, Vieira of Teaticket, Jones of North Reading, Humason of Westfield, Beaton of Shrewsbury, Lyons of Andover, Devers of Lawrence and Adams of Andover move to amend House Bill 3400 by adding the following sections:

“SECTION XX. Section 12 of chapter 156C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking subsection (d) and inserting in place thereof the following:

(d) The fee for the filing of the certificate of organization required by subsection (a) shall be one hundred twenty-five dollars. The fee for the filing of the annual report required by subsection (c) shall be one hundred twenty-five dollars. Such fees shall be paid to the state secretary at the time the certificate of organization or the annual report is filed.”.
