Amendment #586 to H3400

4-H Protective Language

[Sponsors] Representatives Gobi of Spencer, Barrows of Mansfield, Alicea of Charlton, Ashe of Longmeadow and Khan of Newton move that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 7100-0200, by adding at the end thereof the following:

“; provided further, that the sum expended for the UMass Extension in fiscal year 2012 shall be adjusted only in direct proportion to university budget adjustments to other academic programs of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst; provided further, that such funds shall be expended in accordance with a plan reviewed by the UMass Extension Board of Public Overseers; provided further, that funds may be expended for the statewide 4-H program”.
