Hazmat Response Teams
[Sponsors] Representatives Collins of Boston, Walsh of Boston, Coppinger of Boston, Devers of Lawrence, Cantwell of Marshfield, Smola of Palmer, Garry of Dracut, and Garlick of Needham move to amend House No. 3400 in Section 2 by inserting at the end of line item 8324-000 after the word “program” the following: -
For the creation of a grant program to be known as student awareness of fire education programs, S.A.F.E, which shall include information about the fire risks caused by smoking, the distribution of grants awarded by the department of fire services for every city, town, fire district, and authority of the commonwealth. The department may expend from this grant, reasonable costs for its administration and oversight $1,200,000. . . . $14,037,500
moves to amend House No. 3400 in Section 2 by inserting in line item 8324-000 after the words “split days option” the following: -
; provided further, that $1,296,000 shall be provided for the Commonwealth’s Hazardous Material Response Teams;
