An Act authorizing certain licensees of the Division of Banks to participate in a multi-state licensing system

[Sponsors] recommends that the bill be amended by striking out, in line 8, the words “which may include” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-  “by means of”; and

by striking out, in line 114, the words “commissioner of administration” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-  “secretary of administration and finance”; and

by inserting after the word “for”, in line 134, the following words:-  “the sharing of regulatory information and for the licensing and application, by electronic or other means, of”; and

by inserting before the enacting clause the following emergency preamble:-

“Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to authorize forthwith the participation of the division of banks in a multi-state licensing system, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience”.
