An Act Establishing a Sick Leave Bank for Patricia Chasse

The committee on Ways and Means recommends that the bill be amended By striking out the title and inserting in place thereof the following title:- “AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SICK LEAVE BANK FOR PATRICIA CHASSE, AN EMPLOYEE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.”; and

by striking out, in line 1, the words “SECTION 1.”; and

by inserting after the word “law”, in line 1, the following words:- “or rule or regulation”; and

by striking out, in lines 1 and 2, the words “executive office of health and human services” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “department of children and families”; and

by striking out, in lines 3, 5, and 8, each time it appears, the word “office” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- “department”; and

by striking out the emergency preamble and inserting in place thereof the following emergency preamble:- “Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the department of children and families, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.”
