Amendment #126 to H4100

shellfish propagation

Representatives Madden of Nantucket, Peake of Provincetown and Turner of Dennis move to amend the bill in section 2, in  item  2330-0100, by inserting after  "that $400,000 shall be spent for the operation of the Newburyport shellfish purification plant;" the following:

“;provided, that not less than $135,000 shall be expended for shellfish propagation in Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket County to be administered jointly by the state aquaculture coordinator and counties”.
