“SECTION XX. Clause Twenty-sixth of section 7 of chapter 4 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting, in line X, after the words ‘thereof,’ the following:- including the governor, the lieutenant governor, and the governor’s council,
SECTION XX. Chapter 66 of the General Laws, as so appearing is hereby amended by inserting, after section 17E, the following section:-
Section 17F. Itemized phone records of calls made or received by any officer or employee of any agency, executive office, department, board, commission, bureau, division or authority of the commonwealth, or of any political subdivision thereof, including the governor, the lieutenant governor, and the governor’s council, are public record provided the information contained therein conforms with the definition of “public record,” as defined by clause twenty-sixth of section 7 of chapter 4.”.
