Harbors and inland waterways maintenance fund

Representatives Cantwell of Marshfield, Chan of Quincy, Madden of Nantucket and Lawn of Watertown moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 2800-0700 the following item: "For a fund that would re-designate such sums as are determined under the provisions of section 13 of chapter 64A, sections 42, 43, 45, 46A and 49 of chapter 91, and any sums received by the commonwealth from the federal government on account of the activities of the department of environmental management relative to (a) the continuous maintenance dredging; (b) cleaning of all areas within the harbors, inland waters and great ponds of the commonwealth, including removal of sunken and abandoned vessels derelict piers and any other obstacles deemed to be hazardous to navigation; (c) maintenance of state piers; and (d) for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of section 31."
