Furniture Banks for Families in Transition from Homelessness

Representatives O'Day of West Boylston, Andrews of Orange, Fresolo of Worcester, Golden of Lowell, Ross of Attleboro, Sciortino of Medford, Sullivan of Fall River, Walsh of Framingham, Khan of Newton and Swan of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7004-0099, in line 52, by inserting after "requirements" the following: "provided further, that not less than $200,000 shall be expended through performance-based contracts with organizations and agencies to provide furniture and household goods to families and individuals exiting homelessness."; and in said item by striking out the figures "$6,742,317" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$6,942,317".
