UMass Medical School Narcotic Analysis

Mr. O'Day of West Boylston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, Line Item 8000-0106 by striking out the figures “$15,074,646” and inserting in place thereof the following: “$14,654,646” and striking the phrase “provided further, that not less than $420,000 shall be spent for the analysis of narcotic drug synthetic substitutes, poisons, drugs, medicines and chemicals at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in order to support the law enforcement efforts of the district attorneys, the state police and municipal police departments"; and inserting line item “0340-0410 For the analysis of narcotic drug synthetic substitutes, poisons, drugs, medicines and chemicals at the University of Massachusetts medical school in order to support the law enforcement efforts of the district attorneys, the state police and municipal police departments - $420,000”
