School to Career Connecting Activities

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7027-0019, in line 7,  by inserting after the word “program” the following: "provided further, that this program may include the award of matching grants to workforce investment boards or other local public-private partnerships involving local community job commitments and work site learning opportunities for students," and further moves to amend the bill in line 3 by striking out the following: “department of workforce development” and inserting in place thereof the following: “executive office of labor and workforce development” and further moves to amend the bill in line 6 by striking out the following: “school-to-work” and inserting in place thereof the following: “school-to-career”.
