Merrimack River Walkway Amendment

Representatives Golden of Lowell and Murphy of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 2820-2000 the following item:

"xxxx-xxxx For the development and maintenance of a  river walk from the Hunts Fall Bridge to the University Avenue Bridge in Lowell along Route 110; provided, that the department of conservation and recreation shall take all measures necessary to ensure that such walkway is safe for pedestrian traffic.………………..$1,000,000.”
