Amendment #329 to H4100

Request for Proposals

Representatives Poirier of North Attleborough, Humason of Westfield, O'Connell of Taunton, Lombardo of Billerica, Ross of Attleboro, Markey of Dartmouth, Durant of Spencer and Bastien of Gardner move to amend the bill by adding at the end thereof the following section:—

“SECTION XX. Section 6 of chapter 30B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after subsection (g), the following:-

(h) If the time for acceptance specified in the solicitation expires and the chief procurement officer receives only one request for proposal, the officer shall re-open the solicitation process for and the time specified for the receipt of bids in the original request.”
