Amendment #341 to H4100

MBTA Fare Rate Amendment

Representatives Fallon of Malden, Timilty of Milton, Chan of Quincy, Provost of Somerville and Smith of Everett move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 0699-0015, in line 23, at the end, the following:

"Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary or other provision on this item, the comptroller may allocate $30,000,000 to the current Fiscal Year 2013 projected deficit for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority to be applied specifically to debt service, and therefore offset and reduce any anticipated fare hike increases for said Fiscal Year."
