Funding to School Districts for Teacher Evaluation

Mr. Sullivan of Fall River moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION  XXXX. Section 60 of Chapter 15 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following text: "the secretary of administration and finance shall convene, upon the request of the advisory commission on local government or by a majority of its members nominated by the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, a working committee, consisting of  his own designee, a designee of the commissioner of education and two designees of the advisory commission on local government, one of whom shall be selected by the above referenced school committee members thereof, to establish guidelines for reimbursing cities, towns, and regional school districts for the reasonable costs associated with the implementation of section thirty-eight of chapter seventy-one".
