Mr. Sullivan of Fall River moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in line 20, in item 3000-5075, by striking the words “have been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, National Association of Family Child Care or a Child Development Associate credential or higher;” and inserting in place thereof the words “fall within the quality standards established by the Massachusetts Quality Rating and Improvement System;” and further moves to amend the bill by inserting in line 26, after the word “compensation,” the following: “enhance program quality through participation in the Massachusetts Quality Rating and Improvement System,”.
