RTA Funding

Representatives Peake of Provincetown, Atsalis of Barnstable, Fox of Boston, Cariddi of North Adams, Ferguson of Holden, Gifford of Wareham, Scibak of South Hadley, Pignatelli of Lenox, Kocot of Northampton, Madden of Nantucket, Conroy of Wayland, Coakley-Rivera of Springfield, Schmid of Westport, O'Day of West Boylston, Andrews of Orange, Sannicandro of Ashland, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Walsh of Framingham, Turner of Dennis, Smola of Palmer, Finn of West Springfield, Howitt of Seekonk, Lawn of Watertown, Provost of Somerville, Ashe of Longmeadow and Kafka of Stoughton move to amend the bill in Section 2E, in item 1595-6370 by adding the following: “provided that notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 161B, $59,235,055 of this transfer shall be distributed to each regional transit authority in an amount equal to the amount received by each regional transit authority in state fiscal year 2012”; and in said item by striking out the figure “$15,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$59,235,055”
