Amendment #397 to H4100

Representatives Sánchez of Boston, Coakley-Rivera of Springfield, Provost of Somerville, Andrews of Orange, Forry of Boston and Smizik of Brookline Move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7004-0108, in line 3, by inserting after “section 30 of chapter 23B of the General Laws”, the following “and”,   and in

in line 5, by inserting after “assistance provided under this item shall include” the following “no less than”,  and  in line 13, by striking the following: “provided further, that a family shall not be able to receive assistance hereunder for 12 months from the last date it received assistance, including housing stabilization and economic self-sufficiency case management services, through this program” , and in line 33, by striking “24” and inserting in place thereof the following “36”,  and in line 39 by striking the following:

“provided further, that so long as they meet the requirements of their housing stabilization plan, a family that received household assistance pursuant to this item prior to July 1, 2012 who exceeds the income eligibility criteria pursuant to section 30 of chapter 23B of the General Laws shall not become ineligible for assistance due to exceeding the income limit for a period of 3 months from the date that the 115 per cent level was exceeded”.
