Veterans Service Organizations Grants

Representatives Durant of Spencer, Smola of Palmer, DiNatale of Fitchburg, Swan of Springfield, Ferguson of Holden, Beaton of Shrewsbury, Timilty of Milton, Fox of Boston, Rosa of Leominster, Ross of Attleboro, Webster of Pembroke and Walsh of Framingham moves to amend the bill by inserting after item 1410-0010 the following item:

"1410-XXXX Veterans Service Organizations Grants

For matching grants to local American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, or similar veterans service organizations for capital improvements; provided that the department of veterans services shall award the full amount of each grant to each organization upon commitment of matching funds from such organizations……………………………………….$100,000”.
