An Amendment to Freeze Unemployment Taxes

Mr. Fattman of Sutton moves to amend the bill by inserting, after SECTION XX, the following:-

“SECTION XX.  Notwithstanding section 14 of chapter 151A of the General Laws, the experience rate of an employer qualifying therefor under subsection (b) of said section 14 shall be the rate which appears in the column designated ‘E’ in paragraph (1) of subsection (i) of said section 14 for calendar year 2013.

SECTION XX.  This act shall take effect as of January 1, 2013.”.
