Hampden Sheriff DOC Transfer 2

Representatives Wagner of Chicopee, Coakley-Rivera of Springfield, Kane of Holyoke, Swan of Springfield, Petrolati of Ludlow, Curran of Springfield, Ashe of Longmeadow, Finn of West Springfield and Humason of Westfield move that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 8900-001, in line 11, by inserting after the word "Center" the following: "; provided further the department of correction may expend $412,000 for the operation of the Western Massachusetts Regional Women's Correctional Center; and provided further that the department of correction may expend $412,000 to transfer male inmates with less than 2 years left on their sentence to the Hampden Sheriff's Department"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$535,951,881" and inserting place therof the figures "$536,763,881".
