Funding for Louis. D. Brown Peace Institute

Representatives Henriquez of Boston, Forry of Boston, Fox of Boston, Holmes of Boston and Sánchez of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 4513-1026 the following item: “4513-XXXX For the provision of statewide support services for survivors of homicide victims, including outreach services, burial assistance, grief counseling, and other support services; provided, that funds shall be expended as grants in the aggregate amount of $250,000 to the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, a community-based support organization dedicated to serving families and communities impacted by violence……………………………….……..$250,000.”
