Amendment Relative to Directed Patrols

Representatives Reinstein of Revere, Costello of Newburyport, Basile of Boston, O'Flaherty of Chelsea, Walsh of Lynn, Rushing of Boston, Donato of Medford, Bradley of Hingham, Galvin of Canton, Malia of Boston, Fennell of Lynn, Ayers of Quincy, Chan of Quincy and Timilty of Milton Move to amend the bill in section 2 in item 8100-1001 in line 29 by inserting after “city or town in which traffic details are performed by state police officers” the following: “provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for the payroll costs of the state police directed patrols; provided further, that any community that was selected to receive earmarked funds for directed patrols in fiscal year 2008 shall receive not less than 100 percent of the amount so earmarked in fiscal year 2013”.
