Amendment #549 to H4100

Long Island Bridge Safety/ Feasibility Inspection

Mr. Ayers of Quincy moves to amend the by adding at the end thereof the following section:

SECTIONXX. Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall perform a safety inspection/feasibility study of the safety and longevity of the Long Island Bridge within the City of Boston, connecting Moon Island and Long Island.

If the bridge is deemed unsafe, the City of Boston, is instructed to implement an alternate, economically feasible, means for transportation via water shuttle/barge access to Long Island within 90 days of inspection".
