Amendment #619 to H4100

An Act relative to social security numbers and state housing

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton, Diehl of Whitman, Dwyer of Woburn, Orrall of Lakeville and Webster of Pembroke move to amend House Bill 4100 by adding the following sections: “SECTION XX.  Not withstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the executive office of housing and economic development shall require all recipients seeking housing assistance in any form, including vouchers, to provide a valid social security number and the housing agency is required to verify the number.”
