Amendment #631 to H4100

Request for Proposals (RFP's)

Representatives Poirier of North Attleborough, Humason of Westfield, O'Connell of Taunton, Lombardo of Billerica, Ross of Attleboro, Markey of Dartmouth, Durant of Spencer and Bastien of Gardner move to amend the bill by inserting, after section xx, the following section:—

“SECTION XX. Section 39M of chapter 30 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the word “so”, on line 14, the following words:— provided, however, that at the expiration of the time for the filing thereof, if only one bid has been submitted, the awarding authority shall re-open the bidding process for time specified in the original request.”.
