Amendment #646 to H4100
Children's Advocacy Center Grants
Representatives Aguiar of Fall River, Barrows of Mansfield, Cabral of New Bedford, Howitt of Seekonk, Koczera of New Bedford, O'Connell of Taunton, Ross of Attleboro, Schmid of Westport and Sullivan of Fall River move to amend the bill by inserting after section 98 the following section:
"SECTION xx. Subsection (d) of section 47 of chapter 94C is hereby amended in line 135 by inserting after "purposes" the following: "or as grants to a local children's advocacy center" and is hereby further amended in line 152 by inserting the following: "a police department may expend up to ten percent of the monies and proceeds for drug rehabilitation and other anti-drug or neighborhood crime watch programs which further law enforcement purposes or as grants to a local children's advocacy center".
