Funding for Hospital Infrastructure and Capacity Building

Representatives Straus of Mattapoisett and Koczera of New Bedford move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4000-0700,  by adding the following: "provided further, that the Executive Office of Health and Human Services shall give priority in the award of FY13 Infrastructure and Capacity Building grants to those disproportionate share hospitals defined in section 1 of chapter 118G that also have the highest proportion of Medicaid costs, as evidenced by a hospital's most recently filed Hospital cost 403 report”.
