Amendment #765 to H4100

Local Police Career Incentives

Representatives Rogers of Norwood, Lawn of Watertown, Ferguson of Holden, McMurtry of Dedham, Fallon of Malden, Ashe of Longmeadow, Levy of Marlborough and Diehl of Whitman move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 0699 – 0015, by striking out the figure "$2,011,754,769" and inserting in place thereof the figure "$1,961,552,647"; and said item is amended further by adding at the end thereof "the treasurer shall refinance said debt at existing low interest rates"; and inserting after item 8000 - 0038 the following item: "8000-0040.......For police career incentives to reimburse certain cities and towns for career incentive salary increases for police officers…………………50,202,122".
