School-to-Career Connecting Activities

Representatives Coppinger of Boston, Walsh of Boston, Honan of Boston, Forry of Boston, Lawn of Watertown, Cabral of New Bedford and McMurtry of Dedham move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7027-0019, in line 7, by inserting after “program” the following: “provided further, that this program may include the award of matching grants to workforce investment boards or other local public-private partnerships involving local community job commitments and work site learning opportunities for students”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$2,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$3,250,000”.
