Amendment Regarding Housing Assistance for Families in Need

Ms. Reinstein of Revere moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7004-0108, in line 72, by inserting after the words “assigned to each household” the following:  “and provided further, that not less than one-hundred seventy five thousand dollars be expended annually for provision of emergency services that provide domestic violence intervention, workforce development, housing assistance, operation of food vouchers, winter coats for kids and holiday dinners operated by Community Action Programs Inter-City, Inc. for the communities of Chelsea, Revere and Winthrop;”.
