Workforce Competitiveness Trust Fund

Representatives Garballey of Arlington, Kocot of Northampton and McMurtry of Dedham move that the bill be amended in Section 2, by inserting after item 7002-0108 the following item: - "7002-1074 Workforce Competitiveness Trust Fund to support employer-led training partnerships, aligned to the Commonwealth's economic development strategy. Funds will provide skills development for 1,000 new hires and 500 employees to achieve career advancement.... $10,000,000."
