Amendment #828 to H4100

Technical Amendment

Mr. Dempsey of Haverhill moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7004-0101, by inserting after the words  “condemnation or nonpayment of rent” the following words:- “caused by a documented loss of income within the past 12 months directly as a result of a job loss or medical condition”; and in said item after the words “attributable to a disability” by  striking out the words “caused by a documented loss of income within the past 12 months directly as a result of a job loss or medical condition”

And further amend the bill in section 2, in item 7004-9024, by striking the words “provided further, that these new vouchers shall only be available to families receiving benefits through line item 7004-0103” and inserting in place thereof the following words: “provided further, that these new vouchers shall only be available to families residing in hotels or motels;”

And further amend the bill in section 2, in item 7061-0928, by striking out after the words “and provided further, that the” the words “department” and inserting in place thereof the words “department’s advisory committee”.

And further amend the bill in section 2, in item 7061-0928, by striking out after the words “no later than” the words “January 4, 2013” and inserting in place thereof the words “December 31, 2013”.

And further amend, in section 33, by striking out, in line 490, the words “section 22” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- section 21

And further amend, in section 33, by striking out, in line 491, the words “, in line 21,” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- , in line 57,

And further amend, in section 81, by inserting, in line 1050, after the word “services” the following word:- personal

And further amend, in section 90, by inserting, in line 1359, after the word “co-chairs;” the following words:- the secretary of elder affairs, or a designee;

And further amend, in section 91, by inserting, in line 1392, after the word “contrary,” the following words:- in the case of community colleges,
