Amendment #85 to H4100

Ensuring Every City and Town 17.5%

Representatives Hill of Ipswich, Ehrlich of Marblehead and Dwyer of Woburn move to amend the bill by inserting, after section XX, the following section:— 

“Section XX.

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for fiscal year 2013 the total amounts to be distributed and paid to each city and town from item 7061-0008 of section 2 shall be at a minimum 17.5 percent of their Foundation Budget; provided further, that said funds distributed shall be represented in a separate column on the cherry sheet produced by the department of revenue.”
