Mr. Dempsey of Haverhill moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 6121-1217, in line 51, after the word, “department”, by inserting the following words:-

; provided further, that $1,400,000 shall be expended for redesign and construction work to Broadway, in the City of Haverhill;
