Amendment #18 to H4179

To prohibit use of borrowed funds for cutting grass

Mr. Winslow of Norfolk moves to amend the bill in section 2, line 19, by striking after the word “obligations;” the word “and”;

and further in item 6121-1215, in line 24, by inserting after the word “applies” the following text:–

“;and provided further, that no such funds shall be used for purposes of mowing grass on highway medians or public rights of way”;

and further moves to amend the bill, in section 2, line 35, by striking after the word “obligations;” the word “and”;

and further in item 6121-1216, in line 40, by inserting after the word “applies” the following text:–

“;and provided further, that no such funds shall be used for purposes of mowing grass on highway medians or public rights of way”;

and further moves to amend the bill, in section 2A, line 49, by striking after the word “costs;” the word “and”;

and further in item 6121-1217, in line 51, by inserting after the word “department” the following text:–

“;and provided further, that no such funds shall be used for purposes of mowing grass on highway medians or public rights of way”;

and further moves to amend the bill, in section 2B, line 63, by striking after the word “Laws;” the word “and”;

and further  in item 6122-1223, in line 71, by inserting after the word “department” the following text:–

“;and provided further, that no such funds shall be used for purposes of mowing grass on highway medians or public rights of way”.
